Away from the office, Iles Property Managing Director Alastair Iles is a regular and successful competitor in motorsport.

For 2008 Alastair has been racing a new car - a production based Alfa 147 GTA. Alastair has been competing in the Alfa Romeo Championship for a number of years and built the new car over the winter to replace his race winning Alfa 33.

The 250+ bhp Iles Property supported car made it's debut over the Easter weekend and Alastair was immediately rewarded with a class win in the highly competitive championship. Despite this being Alastair's first season with the new car the season ended with the Alastair second in class (by just 2 points) and tenth in the overall championship. The 2009 season will start in March or April next year.
